Question: I wanna get other piercings besides my ears, but my parents are dead set against it. They say that I won't get hired to work at places and such. I'm 14 so obviously I can't get piercings without parents permission. So does anyone know how I can get my lip pierced or how to do it my self and do it so it won't get infected?

I can't say that you are too young because I got my tongue done when I was 13.
And my mom says the same thing when I ask her to get my lip pierced.
But if you really want to pierce your own lip you can go to a store like Hot Topic or a place like that and get a piercing kit.
If you don't want to do that.
Get a needle that looks as big as a 14 gage and boil it in water for a couple of minutes or put alcohol on it and run it through a lighter. Also get a lip ring and boil it in water as well.
After you pierce your lip with the needle follow it through with the lip ring.
And make sure you keep it nice and clean.

And you don't think your parents are going to notice if you do it on your own without their permission? Good luck with that one...
just use a sanitized needle, and keep it clean, with alcohol or proxide.
Whoa... and how do you think your parents will react if you do that? No, not that, how much do you think they will trust you? How much do you think they will respect you after you completely disrespect them?
Wait four years. It really isn't that long. I personally am pierced, and I waiting until I was 18. It wasn't easy, but it was necessary. And I am so glad I got them done professionally now.

Twilight! Do NOT attempt it! Even having it done professionally bears the risk of infection, and if you do it yourself....multiply that by a factor of at least 10!

An infection could horribly disfigure you for life, and I am not kidding.
The lip is too obvious. If you don't want to get in trouble, then don't pierce your lip. At least go for a different body part that is less obvious.
U REALLY need to just wait this one out. U can get very sick trying to do things like this without prof help and THEN what will ur parents say?
There are so many nerves in your face. Doing it yourself can cause nerve damage and infections.
Wait until you are 18. My guess would be you will change your mind by then anyway
