yes.. I had the surgery done in early 2003 .. I regret it BIG TIME!!!!!
I mean yes I am happy that I am smaller, which causes less back problems, but I had the misfortune of going to a doctor who left me with horrible scars, different size and shaped breast! ( I was not over weight, actually small for my size, which is one of the reasons I had so many back problems, I was just very well endowed... 38DD and I wore size 6-8 Jeans ...)
I would HIGHLY suggest if you are wanting to have this done, do A LOT of research on the doctor, see if there have been any law suits against them for issues such as mine ... I didn't have this option, mine was dine through the military, so i had to go to who they sent me to, and now they wont do anything because they consider it "cosmetic" even though I have alot of pain when wearing certain bras, or sleeping a certain way because of the scarring...
I was advised most often with reductions, no you can't breast feed, but some people still can, again it all varies on the doctor doing the surgery.
Recovery time, that does vary by person, but I was suggested to take 4 weeks off of work when I had mine done.
Again, the BIGGEST thing is research.... try to find someone in your area who HAS had one, talk to them, find out more about their doctor.....

Seldom when a woman is at ideal weight are breasts too large. (Loose weight?) If they are, see someone competant. It is difficult in medical circles, but not impossible. If the reduction is done well breast feeding will be possible.
My sister had one, she went from a D to a B and she was just telling me last night that the was worried about lumps that she has developed. They did a really botched job. I know she regrets it. She says she has no feeling or anything left....
My older sister had BR 30+ years ago just after she finished high school. No problem breast feeding 2 babies and I haven't heard her complain about any pain.
The only thing I have to say is make sure that you don't go to small. One of my best friends got a reduction and all she thought was that she hated how big her brests were and she wanted them to be little again, and she a reduction of 2 cup sizes, and now she regrets getting 2 cups off. She is actually thinking about getting implants now. But, on the other hand, my sister got a reduction, 3 cups, and she LOVES her new brests. She had a speedy recovery. And she no longer has backaches. She is cery happy with her new body.
