Question: I feel really weird to ask this but I've heard about it. I'm 11 years old and I am a little overweight. My nipples are sore when I press them. I have blue vains on them and in the morning, if I lay on my side, it hurts. I haven't had my period yet. I need to kow if something's wrong. Please help me.

Don't worry luv- when the breasts are developing they're a bit tender. Good luck with your growing! If it continues or if you're just too nervous, talk to Mom and a Doc. But it's probably no biggie. :-)

nope. your prolly just starting to get boobs! thats what happened to me. i thought there was somehting wrong with me but then i went to this stupid health for women! program at my school [all the 5 graders had to go] and i learned that i was just getting my breast bud. plus theyll always hurt if u get hit or something in tht area so be aware!

You're just growing, that's why you're sore, I've never had blue veins (vain is like being full of yourself) on my chest before, but I'm sure you're fine. Good luck, puberty is taxing.
Hormonal changes are a way of life for your little body. It is just adjusting to the extra hormones floating around. Stop squeezing them stimulation only makes it more tender, Tell your mom just in case something is wrong. Extra pounds cause extra estrogen and that makes your breasts feel like that.
"NOTHING" is wrong... "U"r brest is growing 4 the next 15months... just "DO NOT TOUCH" them do not play w/them can get "INFECTED".....
