Well it might "pop" your cherry, but i don't think that masturbation can be considered loosing your virginity. In my opinion, you would need a man you love to help you loose your viginity. Make sure you give it to the right person.
It's more like masturbation if anything, but it will break your hymen (which happens when you lose your virginity). But losing your virginity is technically engaging in sexual intercourse... so I'd say no you're not losing your virginity.
if a female's hymen is not intact any more.. then that female is still virgin provided that she has not yet had her first sexual intercourse.. for the knowledge of all, the hymen is the one that bleeds if you had your first time sex ..
Technically yes you are loosing your virginity because you would break your hymen, but i wouldn't really consider it loosing your virginity. Some guys don't want to be with girls who aren't virgins mainly because of STDs and stuff, but i doubt he would care if you yourself "popped your cherry".
