Why am i so hungry ?!


Question: for some reason ive been getting hungry like right after i eat and it seems as if nothing satisfies my hunger. so im hungry all day but dont want to eat because i already ate. im not eating fast. in fact i tested out by eating slower than usual but was still hungry. im not fat if thats what your thinking. i am not pregnant if thats what your thinking. i just dont know what to do about it. should i eat until i am satisfied? will i get fat? and no i have not been exersizing or using up my energy that much. im moving around just as much as i used to when i wasnt that hungry. im a 13 yr old girl. WHATS THE MATTER WITH ME!!?????

growth spurts, puberty, etc.

everyone goes through those small phases where we want to eat everything in sight. hopefully it just doesn't last too long! try filling up on healthy food instead of junk food.

think of it like this. you can probably imagine sitting down and eating a whole bag of chips, can't you? once you start eating.. they slowly disappear!

but can you imagine sitting and eating a whole bag of apples? you'll be stuffed by the 2nd or 3rd apple.

fill up on the good stuff and you'll go through your hunger phases without feeling bad about yourself!

you are in puberty so thats why maybe or its something mental

It's likely you're going into a growth spurt and your body needs more vitamins and nutrients. Your body is telling you this by making you feeling hungry all the time. Eat when you're hungry, but try to eat as healthy as possible. Try to get more exercise as well...that will keep you healthy and help you not to gain weight from eating extra. dehydration and malnutrition. take a multivitamin and drink plenty of water
eat at least 2 friuts and 2 veggies with each meal and plenty of lean protein

I guess you're growing! Eat up & enjoy it while you can.

In your early teens, your hormones go haywire and that can increase your appetite. Your hormones control almost everything inside your body. Also maybe there's a nutrient you're not getting and your body is craving it. Go to your pediatrition and maybe they can find out how to curb your appetite or teach you to eat more balanced meals so that you are getting the nutrients your body needs.Good LUck!

just eat healthily. Don't stuff yourself with rubbish and junk. If you feel hungry don't starve yourself. Help yourself to something light and healthy. Your at a important stage in your life, puberty, this means there will be a lot of changes happening within your body and it needs all the energy and strength you've got! So go ahead and eat healthily and look after your body. Good luck.
