The whole sore/itchy thing is REALLY irritating but it's very normal. I went through it at your age.

Usually you get your period within 2 years of your breasts starting to develop...sometimes even within 6 months. If you don't get them before you turn 16 you might want to get a check up.

On the day I first got mine, I felt ill, was very tired and dizzy, had an achy back and tummy (all normal and to be expected) but it wasn't until late that night that I actually got it. Also it will most likely NOT look like blood on your first time...it'll probably be this brown stuff. That's what happens when the blood takes a long time to make it's way down from your uterus. But don't let it scare you it's normal.

Good luck!

You get moody and can start having pains
in your back and stomach. (cramps)

btw, don't feel scared bout it.

well they say your boobs start growing about 2 years before you get it so how long hve you noticed a chest, it;; probably come soon id predict just under a year at the very very latest but could be much sooner

Signs of a period:

If you have a light one, I would just say gas, but thats only if you have gas cramps like me. But cramps would be a big sign.

If its heavy, Throwing up, and your pants will feel very very wet :]

I would say that you wouldnt be too far away. Sometimes you just notice it without any warning like when you go to the toilet or something. Usually to start with it wont be heavy more like a spotting. Sometimes you may get some cramps or start noticing a few pimples on your face that you dont usually get or maybe you might be a little bit more moodier then normal. You can buy from the shop some panty liners which is alot thinner then a normal pad just so that was you can be prepared if something does happen. All the best:)
