Plz help...repetitive miscariage!!!!?!
Question: Okay. Well about a couple weeks ago i found out i was prego..then a week later bleeding occured & i found out i miscarried once again!! another heatbreak :( Well the doctor told me that she thought it was due to the low progesterone. I just wanted to know if there is any women out there who have the same problem or know anything about it...if you could help me out just some advice and if you have got treated and what was that like and did you have a successful pregnancy after??? Please help me...i have a doctors appt january 8th. I have stoppd bleeding from the misscariage...i was only according to the doctor 5 weeks prego and my hcg level was at 8....just anything will help...this is my 2nd misscariage in this past year!!! Help me plz!!!! Thanks....& god bless!!!

My OB thinks that progesterone treatment is a false fix, he believes that miscarriages happen for a biological reason - something is wrong with the pregnancy or the fetus, and it is the body's natural way of eliminating what would inevitably be bad for it. I know that's probably not what you're wanting to hear, but that is just what his opinion of it is. He says that there could be dozens of reasons why women miscarry....it could be a DNA abnormality, chromosomes, etc. I think after 2 you still have a great chance of becoming successfully pregnant. I know a woman who had 5 miscarriages in a row and then finally had a healthy pregnancy with no real intervention.
Sounds like it could be progesterone. Is your doctor giving you progesterone to take to support a pregnancy?
