Question: hey ladies i just wanted to know if any of yall discharge something white after your done with your period. well i just finished with my period yesterday & today i woke up & im dischargin white stuff from my [vagina] this dosent only happens when my period is over it happens almost all da time. [yes] if been to my gyn & he said that is normal but i will like to know why my vagina discharge almost everyday?i can be on my home to school or i can be just walkin or something then i feel my vagina wet & is very uncomftable & then when i go to check i have somethin very thick & white dischargin from my vagina.[i feel like im a freak] im so imbarresed to ask my family members if they have the same problems.& if you know the answer plz explain your self..and tell me why does this happens?...thank you

the discharge u see is coming from ur vagina but its not something to be afraid of. every women should have some or else they will have problems with their period. vaginal discharge is just ur body's way of cleaning and keeping the vagina moist and preventing dryness (which causes itchiness and burning sometimes) after your period stops, there is usually more discharge because your period isn't really all blood, its about 40% blood with tissue and discharge mixed together. the discharge after your period is just pushing out all the blood and cleansing your vagina. also, when your period is about 7-14 days away and you start to PMS, that is another time when there might be some more discharge.
however, if your discharge is thick and yellowish, that is a sign of a vaginal infection, which can be cured easily if treated on time
A thick white discharge can be indicative of a yeast infection. Check with another doc.
Well actually like men when they ejaculate they realse seamen, well for women, women can realse and oderless chemical( i don't know the name of it though, sorry) so i'd say its normal. i am also having this problem. my doctor said that it can be from an imbalance in the body or something different in your life. but she said it was perfectly normal also. women are just different from each other. believe me i felt the same way and then i relized it happens a lot to women.

I asked a question on here about how to make it happen less, and someone said masturbating or having sex, and I thought it was a joke, but I seriously did masturbate and it did help. Which was weird...
But other than that...this is normal, because the discharge cleans out your vagina.
