I have heard there is a cream and powder called magic.
Magic was designed for African American Males to use on their face because they are prone to ingrown hairs.

I have never used it, but I know people who swear by it.

Can be bought at Walgreens and some Wal Marts

the best stuff i have ever used was that veet cream.
i dont shave anymore only because of the razor bumps.
im not to sure if they ever go away lol

none, go with laser hair removal

I never shave down there anymore. Shaving makes your skin sensitive, bumpy and irritated. I always use Nair. But don't use it and shave within a week of each other.

It depends on how thick the hair is in that area. If you were blessed with baby fine hair, shaving isn't likely a problem, however if you're getting razor bumps, you likely have sensitive skin and shaving very often will actually irritate your skin more and cause more razor bumps.

Please keep in mind that if you have sensitive skin or thick hair in that area, depilatory creams aren't the best thing for you to use. I am cursed with dark hair that isn't fine and thin. I've tried many depilatories and they don't work for me. The break off the hair but not below the skin level and if I used that method, I'd have to shave anyway. More often than not, I ended up with a rash. Depilatories have harsh chemicals in them and cause rashes and irritation for many people.

The best way to avoid a rash and razor burn and to get smooth skin is waxing. I know it is painful, but it will last. Usually 3 - 6 weeks.

If you don't want to try waxing, after shaving use a type of cream on the area afterwards that calms and numbs skin. You can find these types of creams and lotions in the hair removal section of a drug store or Walmart. They will state on the box that they prevent irritation and razor burn and they usually work for me.

From my experience, I would stay away from depilatories. If you do use them, test them on a small area first as if you get a painful rash from the depilatory, you just want it on a small area..
