When do your periods get back to normal after a D&C?!
Question: I had a D&C for a blighted ovum on November 30th.
Since then, I've had what my GYN called a normal period. Now, 2 weeks later, I have my period AGAIN! I'm also on birth control for the time being (husband and I plan on TTC again in June of 2008).

When i had mine my periods were hit and miss for about 2 months. i stopped about 2 days after my d&c and then a week later boom. And then about 2 weeks later again and then about 3 weeks later after that i was back to normal. I had my d& c in mid august and conceived in late dec. That was 13 years ago. LOL And now i have a teenager.....
You really need to ask your gyno. I have had a D/C for other reasons.Its not uncommon.
It can take a while for your normal cycle to resume after a D&C. I had a D&C a month after I had my daughter and it took 4 years after that for me to take one period but a friend of mine had regular periods again pretty much straight away. If in a few months you are still experiencing spotting then talk to you GYN.
it can take up to 2-3months for your cycle to get back to normal if there is any heavy clotting bleading then speak to doc otherwise it will sort its self out being on pill helps but you may still spot in between
