Yeast Infection from Antibiotics?!


Question: help - i think i got this from taking antibiotics ( for unrelated reason) but the thing is i am almost done, its my last day taking them..... i only got the probiotic tablets now as well as yogurt but is it too late to cure with this? any other natural remedies? i went to my doct yesterday and i guess she expected this to happen so she gave me a perscription to some cream.. i dont really want to do it but do i have to? especially since im almost done with antibiotics?

Unfortunately this is common - you don't haave to tho... if your almost done with the antibiotics you could just ride it out (so to speak).

Yes you probably will.The antibiotics killed the bad bacteria in you but also the good bacteria in you(your normal flora)that is why the yeast grew so much without the competion from your normal flora.

Wash your P*ssy! You can't get a yeast infection from antibiotics, however you are more likely to get one from sex or not cleaning your nether region.

happens to lots of us...yeah, you probably should use the cream. The yeast probably won't go away just because you finish the antibiotics. You can try yogurt first if you want...but by the time you mess around with 'natural' remedies and discover they didn't work as well, you could be done with the whole business.
