Why do I smell so strong?!
Question: Ever since I had my tubes tied My vaginal smell has been really strong. It's not foul or fishy just uncomfortable for me when having sex. I have had 2 paps one as a second opinion and they were both normal. What is it and what can I do to change it. i tried douching but that made it worse. I won't do that again.

My friend and I were just discussing this same topic yesterday. I told her that this one lady said she didn't want to get her tubes tied because she knew of women who said they would have a strange smell down there after getting their tubes tied. I had never heard of this before and now you are the second person to say that you have an odor too. I hope your doctor can find a reason
I have to wonder if maybe the tubal ligation has effected the amount of female hormones you have in your body. Have you tried douching with a commercial vinegar douche?
