ive known me go all 7 days with nothing then on the first day back on to start! periods are funny things dont worry x

Yes, I have a few times. One time it was two months in a row, so I went to the doctor. He said not to worry, it happens, but if it happened the next month also, I would need to come in and he would give me a shot to make me "start". Thankfully, all was normal the next month. He said it could have been stress, or any number of things that caused it.

I always started my period within the 7 day pill free break.
Get a pregnancy test.

you normally have it about 2-3 days on average in the 7day break, depends on the person really, if you havnt had it atall then it shouldnt be too much to worry about, refer to the leaflet that came with your pills or book an appointment with you GP and tell him/her what your worry is. if you dont have a 7day break then (this is by carrying on a new pack immediatley after you have finished the old one) then you will have no menstrual cycle atall that month. hope this helps, best see the leaflet or see you GP for 100% results :D good luck :D

You may just be late. If nothing turns up see your dr don't forget you can still get pregnant whilst taking the pill esp if you had a cold or a bug

I was on the pill for roughly 20 some odd years and most of the time I had very, very light periods. I would have it one or two days and had plenty of times when I would freak out and think I was pregnant! It is possible to get pregnant while on the pill if you have missed a day or 2 with your pills, it doesn't take more than that but if you are certain you have taken every pill, every day then you are just having a very light period. If this is happening every time then I wouldn't worry about it but if this is unusual as you usually have a heavier flow then you may want to be concerned that you are pregnant but as others have said stress etc can play a role in your period not starting as usual. If you have not had any further bleeding by the time you should start your next cycle then why don't you take a home pregnancy test, they are not that expensive and generally work well.

I missed a bleed a few times too, and went to my doctor, but nothing was wrong. Another time I took my pill right through the seven days, and still got a bleed, although it was lighter. I spoke to my doctor about both of these things, and was told it was nothing. It was, and I quote, 'just one of those things!'. I don't think there's anything to worry about, but a trip to the doc is always good to put your mind at ease if you're worried.
