Because yesterday I went to the doctors and my doctor said I will have my period in a few months and I need to eat more and drink more milk (I'm short). She also said that I will stop growing so thats why I need to work hard in getting taller, so is it true?

You doctor isnt very smart. You cant get taller by drinking milk or doing anything else. She cannot predict when you get your first period. You will grow in height and weight until you are in your twenties even if you start your period when you are 8 years old.
I have never heard anything like this in my life. How can you work hard to get tall? I do not think there is anything you can do to make yourself taller. It depends on your body, heritage, genetics.. all that stuff. I can understand drinking milk for strong bones, but to get taller? That's silly.
I dont think so i got my period but im still growing
IDK if so it wasn't true 4 me. I was 11 I was not taller than 5 foot tall and I am 18 now and I am 5"8 and 1/2 so IDK I don't really drink milk.

that is some what correct. My neighbor is a doctor and she told me that you stop growing 2 YEARS after your first period.
