Weird periods?!

Question: Ive always had pretty bad periods, i get cramps where i just want to lay down and die. I cant even walk, and i feel like im going to cry.

Last months period was especially bad. I had to work an 8 hour shift and i got it, i took 3 tylenols hoping i would be okay, i ended up shaking, and in so much pain i threw up 5 times.

Whats up with me? is vommiting normal?

I get the same thing, I recently discussed this with my doctor and she gave me some birth control pills to regulate the time I get my period and make the periods last less time and hurt less, I also keep pamprin at hand, drink lots of fluid and get enough rest, there are the lucky ones that get only minor bleeding and only three days and then there are us!

i've had periods like that before. go to the doctor. they may prescribe some birth control to help

go to the doctor thats not normal or maybe your expecting

No

Go to the Doctor!

maybe you took too much tylenol?
idk, seriously contact your doctor.

My mom has gone through that and it is normal . It should go away some time near . I don't know about the vommiting though ! It sounds pretty harsh . I suggest that you call a doctor or tell a female relitive about this . But , you should go to your mom first .

i used to have the same problems. i was throwing up, coudn't walk, was breathing very shallow, and the pain was unbearable...i did cry. ended up i had ovarian cysts and endometriosis.
please go to an obgyn ASAP.

I would go see a doctor before you do anything

My sister went on a birth control pill just to even out her periods because they got so bad

Your definately not expecting. I feel your pain though. Ive been that way for years. Especailly in my teens. The only thing that has helped mine is birth control. It took about 3 months to really get things better, but I cant tell you how much better things are. There are no words that can describe the relief that Ive had. Each month it got better and better, to the point that eventually I would actually have months that I wouldnt cramp at all. Go talk to your gyno and Ill bet they will tell you the same thing. Try the birth control pills, give them about 6 months and rest assured you will be a new woman!

same with me!!
I always feel as if I am going to pass out.
I have to take a midol right away when I feel them coming on or I am going to feel like I am going to die!!!
I don't know about the vomiting however. . . I think that it is normal.
if it is that bad you should of told your employer that you didn't even feel well to do your job.
you should watch a funny movie and do breathing exersizes.
and you can take a bath with rose petals or a lavender scented bath bomb (lavender because it makes you feel relaxed) and you should NOT stand up for long periods of time when you are having cramps.
or if you are the athletic type, then going on the treadmill or walking in place will get you feeling better.
or you can talk to a friend on the phone to distract your mind off of the pain.
or do pilates or yoga.
Chicken noodle soup is good with any type of pain!!!!!!!!
or get your pet or (if you don't have a pet) teddy bear snuggle up with you!
:)
hope this helps!!!!

(also reading a good book always helps)

Same thing happened to me, i went to the dr. and they gave me birth control pills to slow my period down

if you go tell them about what is wrong

mine stopped after i had taken bcp

If I were you, goes see your doctor and ask for birth control. It does help of lots. You will getting few period during a year. This might help you.

I totally feel for you, my periods were definitely like that. I'd say go to the doctor and see if they can prescribe some birth control pills for you. They definitely help with easing the cramps.

actually no vomiting is not normal for women when they have their period
