Whats your opinion on abortion?!
Question: i think abortion is bad in one way and may be good in other. the bad way is if some woman goes out and has sex with a guy then she gets pregnant and wants an abortion i think that it is wrong. its not the baby's fault. why should the baby die? thats our next generation. now if a guy who has aids goes out and literally rapes a woman and she ended up pregnant then if i was her i dont think i wanted to carry that baby cause it will have aids. because why bring a baby into this world cause you dont know who they are that raped you and the baby could have aids. but in general i think abortion is wrong all the way around i guess. but like i said it could be good one way and bad in another.

in my opinion i think if you cant support a child and your not ready its okay. Who wants a child to suffer?
Abortion is the destroying (killing) of a human.
I don't like abortion.
I think the unborn baby should have a right to live.
That said, I think if I knew ahead of time that my baby would be born with down's syndrome, I'd want to abort it.
Also, I'd rather it be safely performed and legal rather than illegal and performed in unsafe conditions.
I also like the idea of educating folks about birth control BEFORE the need for abortion happens.
I really think that men shouldn't even comment on a women's right to choose. When we can get pregnant, then we can talk about it. Until that day happens, it's something that is totally your decision.
I am pro-choice, I know not a popular side here on YA, but I personally believe that while I could never kill my unborn child that was made by willing sexual contact with someone, if the featus was a product of rape, I think I would feel differently. I cant hold it against a young girl who choses to have one rather than bring a child that she does not want and can not take care of into the world.
if you arent up for the responsibility of having a baby, then dont do the baby making act!
Whether or not to abort is an extremely private decision that should be left to the person who is pregnant, it shouldn't be decided by anyone else.
I used to be pro-choice. then I was abused and became pregnant as a result. (i didn't go to the doctor right away or report it because it was a very complicated issue.... he was my pastor's son.) i had an abortion. at the clinic they told me I was two months pregnant and took a picture. when they brought the picture to me at the bottom it said " i am baby (my last name), mommy doesn't love me, she doesn't want me." they told me my gestimated due date and asked me if I still wanted to go through with it. i said yes. that due date never left me though, and i had an enormous amount of guilt. on that due date I suffered severe depression and had to be hospitalized. maybe its just me, but the weight of my choice will forever haunt me. I killed my child. Now I am pro-life. give the baby up for adoption... dont kill it...
I think it is an individual choice and that no person has the right to tell a woman what she can and can't do with her body. I am however against using abortion as a method of birth control. I have met a couple women in my life who had several abortions and that's just wrong.

it's wrong. It's murder. Killing an unborn child is just destroying potential, what if that child could have been a genius? If you got pregnant, you should have been ready to go through child birth and care. Put it up for adoption. ABORTION IS SICK!
idk....me and my cousins we having a HUGE disscusion about it not that long ago. I think it's wrong. There are other options besides abortions. Like adoption. But i understand those people who have had one. If it was a situation like rape. Then i would understand better. But if it wasen't then i do agree its wrong. Why should a child suffer for something there parent did?
i do not condone abortion but i am pro-choice. because that is what is has to be, a personal and private choice, with caring, informed and IMPARTIAL professionals to help the woman/girl see there is a choice.
Personally I believe that it should be the woman's choice. As far as the law, making it illegal wouldn't prevent abortions, it would just make them unsafe for the women. That's why we need abortion to be safe and legal.
But I think everyone agrees that it's best to prevent unwanted pregancies in the first place, and for that we need greater access to contraception and comprehensive sex ed.

I think abortion is wrong if the girl knew what she was doing without protection. I'm pro aborion if the girl was raped or is very young.
