Answers: its late alot why do u think?

There could be lots of reasons i think you are going through stress or are coupin with some stressful experiences. Period being a week late is not that bad i had my periods 3 weeks late i went mad and did test everyday all negative....You'll be fine. Just enjoy and don't think about the period when you stop thinkin about it and become relaxed that's when it comes.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of reasons why your period could be late including stress, hormonal imbalance just to name a couple. I wouldn't worry about it too much since worrying about the problem will only cause your period to be even later then it already is. Good luck.

Go to the doctor. You might have PCOS or a hormone imbalance. There are many reasons why you are irregular. A doctor is your best bet to getting back on track. The sooner you get the puzzle solved, the better for your health later on.

Just relax - it will come. I freaked out about mine even before it was supposed to come, I decided to take a chill pill - hours later I got it, even if it was a day late. I know you probably read about women saying they were still pregnant even if the pregnancy tests were negative - if you followed the directions on the pregnancy test as they said on the box, and it said negative - then it's negative. I took 3 of them so far and I've gotten all negative. And even then I've had periods that were 2-3 weeks late. Then again that was back when I wasn't on the pill. Good luck to you.

Irregular menstrual periods are usually the result of hormonal signals that have been thrown out of sync. In order to produce a period, your body makes hormones, like estrogen and progesterone. These hormones are kept in the hypothalamus, pituitary gland, and ovaries inside your body. In order to trigger ovulation and menstruation, these parts of the body need to send signals to one another. Sometimes, these signals get crossed or skipped, causing irregular periods.

But what causes these hormone signals to get out of whack? Well, there are actually a number of things that can easily cause your hormone levels to change.

Pregnancy: If you are pregnant, your body will begin producing different levels of hormones. This will cause numerous pregnancy symptoms, including an end to your period.
Stress: Stress is a common cause of irregular periods. If you are fatigued, worried, or anxious this can cause your hormones to become unbalanced.
Diet: A poor diet or extreme weight loss or gain can also affect your hormones. Women with anorexia or bulimia often have no period or irregular periods.
Exercise: Intense exercise can wreak havoc on your body, often causing irregular periods.
