Is vagina dentata real?!

Question: No, of course not. This hoary old story goes back to the Middle Ages and the time of witchcraft. A good one to frighten off pushy men though! If someone tells you this story again, ask if the fortunate lady goes to her dentist or gynaecologist when her vaginal teeth need fixing. I'd opt for the dentist, give him a fright.

know, teeth in the vagina is an old joke - and I never thought I'd be reading something like this . This piece goes back to an article I did some time ago about a gynecologist who reported that he actually saw some teeth in a vagina.

Can you imagine? Day in and day out, nothing but pap smears, and then one day you put in the speculum and there are some choppers staring back at you!scary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Apparently this vaginal teeth motif is in myths and stories and even jokes all over the world, showing up as a symbol of aggression in women, or of weapons that they can use to rape and kill men. In many of the stories, apparently the women marry the men who detoothed their vaginas and made them safe.so basically................

myth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

want more hope? hahahopegurl@yahoo.com!

My belief is that it arises from men being actually "trapped"in the vagina by a vagina that is experiancing a condition called vaginismuss where it clamps down so strongly, that nothing can come back out til it relaxes....some women have it continually (can't even put their tampons in without so much pain). It needs a GYN. MD....
