Answers: SHE DON'T WANT TO GO TO THE DOCTOR,

I have a friend that this happened to. It was a few years ago - we were still in high school - and she had her period for something like 163 days. It was over a third of a year anyway. She went to the doctor and they couldn't make it stop; it just went away on its own after a while.

She can't stop it though...and she needs to go to the doctor. I imagine if they put her on birth control it would regulate it. It could be an indication of something seriously wrong (though I doubt it). She needs to tell her mom...and she needs to go to the doctor - bottom line.

periods are more then a day

If its longer than 10 days she needs to see a doctor or urgent care clinic.

does your friend have her period more than 7 day days? if so, it could be serious. she should go to a doctor and check it out. i think the doctor will give her birth control pills to control her period.

Some people simply have irregular cycles - a coworker of mine gets her period only once annually for 2-3 months continuously. However, this can be a sign of a serious medical issue, and should be brought to a doctor's attention immediately.

periods are 3-7 days thats proble why you think its everyday and if she has it like 3 weeks at a time i would sugestest tieing her up in her sleep and drag her to the docters.

It's normal to have an irregular period, sometimes they can even last for 2-3 weeks. If it gets passed that, I'd suggest seeing a doctor, but at first with me (I got it when i was almost 10, I'm 13 now), it lasted weeks at a time.

Well you can't stop a period. Get tampons or pads and when you get home lean over the toilet and let out all the blood. But that's good! She's getting older!!
