Question: Okay, my cousin has a problem. Hes really to me and this is what he told me:
My butt has been really sore, and bleeding. It is my butt crack. Kindsa personal. If I sit on something hard, my butt starts to hurt and sometimes bleedes.
Please help me. I want to know from you before I tell my parents.

You have 4 main possibilities. First you could have really dry skin and it is cracking. If you notice that your skin has just split, then you need to apply some bacitracin, and make sure to apply some vasiline to keep it from getting worse. Second it could look like the same thing and be a fungus, in which case you need some clortramizole. Third, you could have a hemroid, which is usually a small bulge that is very sensitive. Fourth, you could have an abcess. An abcess can be caused by manythings, but more often due to an in-grown hair. This causes a very painful bacteria infested site, that is basically a huge pimple but its blood and puss filled hole that can be bigger then the size of a golf ball. The only way to slove that problem, is to have minor surgery and have it cut open and drained. Depending on the size you may have to go in for daily packings. They will fill that hole with a sterile gauze that keeps it from filling back up with more bacteria puss, once your body stops producing the puss you can stop having the gauze changed, the only unfortunate problem with an abcess is its hard to fix the hole and it takes a long time for it to fill in and be a normal scar, but the longer you wait the bigger it will get. But the only way to have this problem diagnosed correctly is to have it checked out by your doctor. Nobody on this site can truely determine what is wrong with you with just words, so you need to show it to your doctor.

Try putting some Neosporin on the cracked skin for a few days. This should help it heal. Also, keep it clean and dry, and try not to wear clothing that allows the skin to stretch. When it's healed try putting lotion on the area after a shower and ALWAYS keep it dry otherwise.
And if it doesn't heal, then do go to a doctor for treatment. That is one place you do NOT want an infection.
And tell your cousin he's an a-hole.
Dear you, I want to say that it may be a case of hemrrhoids or if you have been ingaging in some kind of activity well anyways you should come fourth tell someone and go to the doctor immediately.

Oh I know how you feel.... I had that problem before and i went to the doctor and I ended up having a Pidonidial Cyst. I had to have surgery (it Is EXTREEEEEMLY painful!!!!! Sorry just being honest) It wasnt as bad as my sisters...

My sister also had it really bad and it was infected (She could barely walk and wasnt able to sit at all. Sometimes it'd bleed or pus) She had to has to have 2 surgerys since it was so infected they couldnt get to the root of the cyst to remove it.
Touch around that area where it hurts and if you feel some "bean liked" shape then it could be that. It's also genetic so if someone from your family had it then theres a pretty good chance that you may have it.
