What happens when you get your period??? plz answer...?!
Question: im 13. i went in for a physical with my girl doc in august and she said that i would have my period later than normal but not much later. i know alot of my friends have had theirs but not me and my best friend. thank gosh. so i want to know WHAT is gonna happen to me and for how long. will it be a full week? will it be one week the same day every month????? help i really want to know...before it happens.

Usually when you first get it, it will be extremely irregular. It could last a full week, it could last a couple days. It will be once a month, and probably won't be on the same exact day every time. I got mine when I was 12 and was so scared. But it's alright. I'm 18 now and it's like, so normal that I don't even really think about it when I get it. Trust me, you'll know what to do when you get it. I guess it's like feminie instinct.

It'll be about every month for about a week at a time and until your around 50.
you get stomach ache and you bleed for 3-7 dys.
i stop taking birth controll this month and i haven't had my period yet and i know i'm not pregnant bc i don't have sex.

well...it's different for every girl, and you're going to think yeah right when i say this...but it's true::you can just tell....idk why, but i get like a feeling in my stomache that it's going to happen.... also I usually get a lot of discharge leading up to it....it might not be every month, but i think it also depends on how active you are because I was on the swim team and the whole time i was on it i didn't get it...and the day after the season ended i had it...so it's just depends, yea it sucks, but it means that you're healthy and normal when you have it :]
its different for everybody. it may be a week or 3 days, or 10 days. you need to by sanitary supplies, start with pads, just get used to the idea you will not be swimming during that time. Keep a pad in a plastic bag in your pack so if it happens while you are away from home you will be a little bit prepared.
you bleed. im 12 and i have mine i got it at age 11. my mother got her wehn she was 9. wow i had the girly class in 4th grade! grow up hun
I don't really know that much about it;oP Some girls only bleed a little for a couple days and others turn into satan for a whole week!!! So I guess different girls experience it in different ways!! Start carrying pads around so you will be ready when it happens!
