Illness can mess with your cycle, as well as a bunch of other things, such as hormones and stress. If you are a virgin you don't have to worry about pregnancy. I would wait it out. Most likely you will normalize once you get well. The only real reasons to be concerned are if you are sexually active or very irregular for an extended period of time. As always, if you are concerned make an appointment with the doctor, but most likely there is nothing wrong with you.

don't worry, you are fine! most women have irregular periods. if you are worried you can see a doctor. but it sounds pretty normal to me.
If your a virgin ... than nothing is wrong. Your cycle might just be messed up this month -- it happens
when you have a cold, the immune system is very weak. it is very likely to skip a period when you are sick because ur immune system is too busy on trying to get better.
