First of all, sex is supposed to be an intimate pleasurable experience between 2 people who love eachother. I'm not preaching, but if you are bleeding because of this experience, I can't imagine that it was pleasurable. The bleeding should stop. You could have torn if you weren't lubricated enough and especially if there was prolonged friction plus dryness.
If you are having your period the bleeding should be coming from a different location. You should really be able to tell the difference.

First of all was it safe? If not STD's to worry about. OR was it your first time if so, that might be why. Go see a doc.
