Hey, this usually worries me too. I tell you what I do sometimes. Because I hate the idea of people hearing me changing or being in the toilet for a long time because changing or thinking of a way to get rid of that darn thing!

I got this advice from a friend, and changed a little of it, to make it easier, safer. Wear a normal pad, two doubled if you want (I don't but your choice) Then get a panty liner and put it side ways at the end of it, just so that when you go to bed and the 'flow' doesn't get past that, and you don't really notice that panty liner there. Then when you go to the toilet just fold up some toilet paper, double it over and what not. Then when you go to the toilet just change the toilet paper and flush it, and you will never have to change the pad until you get home!

And it doesn't matter if it goes through the toilet paper a little because it will just go on the pad. If you are worried about them thinking "Why is she going to the toilet so often?" You could just keep drinking lots of water, or drinks. Then they will be like "Well she hasn't stopped drinking!! No wonder!"

This tip has helped me SO many times! And its going to help me in a few days. So good luck!

I hope that I have helped you.
Don't let it get you down!

If she has other girls there she wont know they are your pads, she probably has a garbage in the bathroom. Dont worry about it.

This happened to me once. Take a plastic bag with you, at night wear a super pad. Maybe change just before you go to bed and just when you wake up. You'll be fine. I was really worried but I was fine I just did the above. Good luck and have fun! Don't worry =]

wear maxi pads and when you are done with them wrap it in toilet paper (it will look like someone just had to blow their nose)

or just tell her (it is perfectly normal and nothing to be embarrassed about which you will know that later on)

have fun! hope i helped!

If I were you, I'd get a separate bag for my tooth brush, and put the pads in there. You can say you want to brush your teeth and clean yourself up. And about the leaking part, this is guna sound weird, but you could double up. That's what I do when I'm at my friends house during my wonderful :( time of the month. I mean, lay one pad down, then kind of overlap the other but where it goes to the back of your panties. duude. I feel so embarrassed saying that. But I hope it helps a bit.

Well, you have to bring many pads and make sure you wrap it in toliet paper and be sanitary. like change it, cuz you know what happens..hah ok well good luck..ha :]

If you have to change your pad, make sure you roll the used one up as tight as you can and then wrap in in toilet paper a few times. Try to put it at the bottom of her trash can in the bathroom underneath other stuff. As for leaking, if you dont want to use a tampon, make sure you get a pad with wings and also you can apply a pantyliner on your underwear too...kinda like an extension of the pad. Eventually if you can get to the point where you feel comfortable wearing tampons, you'll realize it'll make things a lot simpler. =)

Dear......

Having a period is nothing to be ashamed of and you certainly shouldn't let it keep you from going to a sleepover. All females will have a period at some point in their life. Some of the people at the sleepover might even have theirs!! You should really talk to your mom about it and see if she has any advice for you. Also, you could wrap the pads up and stuff them in the very bottom of the trash can.....who would dig their to see what was in it anyway???

I always wear a tampon to bed, but i make sure i sleep no more that 8 hours. I would NEVER wear a pad to bed or even during daytime. At night i ALWAYS leak from my backside, cause' i sleep on my back, so i decided to never rely on a pad again. Tampons rock lol Oh, and take your purse with you and put all your stuff there, but while you're at the party hanging out, you could scoth tape the tampon or pad to the inside of your pants. Seriously, it's a good idea, i tried it once, and it worked

Roll your pad in toilet paper then throw it in the trash. While your sleeping try to wake up and make sure that there are you leaks.

bring pads..

Well- here are some suggestions. Take a cute over sized toiletriess bag to the party. Fill it with your pads(in a smaller zippered bag) toothbrush,paste,deodorant,etc.... and a couple of zip-lock bags. Put used pads in zip locks and back in your toiletrie bag. A couple ideas about leaking are either really big pads or a regular pad and maybe a depends undergarment (something like a pull-up) Honestly though alot of the girls have probably been through something like this-so don't let it ruin what is going to be a fun night !!!!!

Do everything above and if the people you are having a sleepover with are girls your age and they do find out dont sweat it. They should understand about periods by then. If they dont then they need to grow up because they DEFINATLEY shouldnt tease you about it..

u worry too much
