Medicated douche?!
Question: When I was at Walmart buying my usual douche today..which is tropical scented, I noticed Massingil has a "medicated" douche on the market...sold over the counter. What exactly is a medicated douche used for? Does this douche treat yeast infections, or maybe STDs? What does a squirt of medicine up there really help?

Next time get new car smell
Douching is bad, and unnecessary. It gets in the way of our bodies ability to clean itself. Medicated simply means it has other stuff in it, it isn't good for you. No it cannot treat yeast or std's. It doesn't help. Ask your gyn the next time you go. The stuff in the douche can kill the important bacteria and alter your natural pH balance. Try just a wash cloth and soap.
Maybe it has bleach for that extra clean feeling.
