Whats the youngest age you can get breast implants???!

Question: My mom is 48 and i am 16. for the first time a couple months ago my mom told me she had breast implants since before i was born. i was absolutely SHOCKED!!!!! then she went on to tell me how my grandma, my aunt, and my mom's cousin all have them too. then i was ultra shocked...i always thought i would have bigger breasts like them and was starting to wonder why they are so small. i am A or AA. heck i don't know. i think i want them when i get older. it makes me feel selfconscious sometimes. what age could i get them? how could i ask my mom? i only want something proportional to my body. like B cup. i am 5'11" and 135 lbs.

18. in spite of my avatar i am an 18 year old flat-chested female. i found out that my mom, aunt, and cousin got breast implants! i was falsely led to believe i would have a chest! anyways, ive struggled with feeling self-conscious about my chest(or lackthereof) until i lost some weight. now i'm 5'7", and about 113lbs and don't mind my chest too much. before i lost some excess weight (like 10lbs) i wore uncomfortable padded bras to make myself look thinner. it has made me awfully uncomfortable about entering intimate relationships with guys coz of my lack of a chest. ive learned its best to wear a bra not too heavily padded so you can feel comfortable if the relationship does indeed progress...i recommend this bra by calvin klein i just bought. it has neither padding nor an underwire but provides me with surprising comfort and shape. since im quite thin i no longer desire large fat deposits on my chest (which is all boobs are!) to detract from whatever tummy i had.
your proportions make you sound like a supermodel! and supermodels lack chests. everyone thinks they are hot, lol.
plus, when one have large breasts guys give you attention for that and that only. it is a disgusting feeling to have a guy stare at your chest and not your eyes. it makes you feel like an object. im glad i never have to deal with that gross feeling. plus, guys who are attracted to small chested females are more confident and when a guy does pursue you, you know it is for you and not your breats. eyuchk.
moreover, my friends who are endowed with breasts are always complaining about breast tenderness, the pain when they go over speedbumps, not being able to wear certain top attire...a litany of complaints.
ive debated breast implants for a very long time, and ive decided i dont want them coz the negatives pale vis-a-vis the positives: increased sexual confidence and looking better in clothes. ive concluded ill consider getting them when i need a confidence boost, perhaps when i turn forty.
i really hope i made you feel better about this issue.

i think like 16 with parents permission

You are only 16!!!!

You grow into your 20s so give yourself time to grow some more.

Guys like the FEEL of real breasts, NOT implants, and they love all sizes and shapes (many guys I know would LOVE your size).

Guys CAN tell the difference.

Most PS's usually wait until you are over the age of 18.

Wait until you're at least 18, please. I'm 19 now and realize a lot of the stuff I wanted when I was 16 is not what I want now. You make realize just how sexy you are without bags of saline in your chest cavity.

You sound like you have a very thing figure, your small breasts probably look great on you.

be happy for wat u have its annoying to get new ones every 7 years and u just want em to wear low tops and show men

16 w/ parental consent, tell ure mom your feeling insecure and try to relate your feeling to the way she felt when she was your age and had small breast...she obviously got inplants for a reason, so tell her that at least if you got them you'd knoow what would be happening since shes had experience and could help you good lck

If your mom was comfortable to tell you and that everyone else has had them, she should take the conversation well. Being small chested is not a big deal. I am an A and never had any problems. I would rather be small then have the pain of them with the risk of being lopsided.

do you no how bad it is to get them, if the silicon pops in your boob, it can kill you, and you cant make babies!!!or at least feed them. its very harmfull for you. its like playing with a guy thats got a knife to your boob. and infecting it. DONT DO IT

I can't really comment on the age limit for breast augmentation surgery as I don't know, but I do want to respond to other aspects of this question.

Contrary to what someone else suggested, silicone implants do NOT "explode". Yes, some have been known to rupture, which simply means that the silicone shell which encases the gel develops a leak. And while this has gotten a lot of bad press in the USA, over in the UK you can ONLY get silicone implants.

That said, be aware that there is also the option of the cohesive gel silicone implant, which has the very interesting property of not leaking anywhere, even when you slice the implant with a knife.

Saline is less expensive compared to silicone. However, if a saline implant leaks, it will typically deflate pretty quickly. On the flip side, it's pretty trivial to replace if/when it does fail.

Silicone implants have the remarkable quality that they feel strikingly a lot like real breast tissue. Hence they're able to fool even the most discerning hand. Or eye. Saline implants have been known to fool the hand or the eye, but when you get right down to it it's just a sac of salt water. The same cannot be said of silicone.

I'm torn on whether to recommend you get them or not. This is a very personal decision. I certainly don't like it when people try to fear-monger and tell you that you'll die if you get them, or they'll look awful (in truth, only the bad boobjobs ever get noticed by the media), and I find it very tiresome when people chant "just learn to love yourself as you are" when nobody bats an eyelash to get cosmetic dentistry done. It's easy to give this sort of advice when someone doesn't have to walk a mile in your moccasins.

So if this really bothers you, talk to your doctor. Given your mom has confided in you, then you should be able to confide in her, maybe even enlist her help. If you're still unsure, take your time pondering the pros and cons.

About the only con I can think of is that as soon as you're given anaesthesia, as soon as the scalpel breaks your skin, the risks increase. There are no guarantees, just remember that.

That said, so long as you go to a board certified plastic surgeon (and you might as well get a consult with 2-3 different ones, as it's not just about the skills but also the artistic talent and bedside manner), your chances of having a brilliant success are excellent. Bear in mind that surgeons tend to be very reluctant to do a surgery unless the candidate seems good. And this means that he wants great success not only for his patient, but for himself. Successful surgeries mean positive referrals. And don't forget their guiding principle: "First, do no harm."

If you're serious about this, do your homework first. It won't be a walk in the park, but the results can be very rewarding. Be prepared to encounter a lot of negativity from 'friends' you thought might be supportive of your decision.

And if you think you can wait till your 18, do so. I'm guessing your mother will be extremely empathetic to your situation, though. Especially given the family history.
