Birth Control Pills?!
Question: My father and I have never been close and ever since my mother died, I don't have anyone to talk to about these things of things (my father is VERY emotional and strict). Well, when you're ready to go on the pill, how to you get them? What are the financial costs? Will everything remain confidential? Etc; Thanks for any help!

i am sorry you and your father is not close, first off. my condolences about the lost of your mother.
Second of all, you need to see your physican so they can suggest to you a gynicologist. When you see your gyni, explain to them you want to be put on birth control, and they will give you options as to what type you want. the patch, the pill, the shot. prices vary depending on what method you want to choose.
do not go to a free health clinic, honestly. You have to keep going back to get the pills adjusted (they normally do not give you a full physical and they do not know your health background like your physican would) because birth control pills are dosages of estrogen, and if the estrogen level is too high for your body, you will have emotional reactions (ie. crying, angry).
So if you are going to do it, do it right, plz. Go through your physican. Legally, physicans cannot disclose any medical situations with your family without your consent. But to be honest with you, if you are going to be an adult and start on birth control pills, be an adult and explain to your father that you are going to do this, with or with out his help.

If you go to your local Clenic they can give you the pills and not say anything to your parents!!!
There are free clinics you can go to and should
well there are some places that give birth control for free all you have to do is go there and talk to the phyiscian and then they will hook you up good luck
You should call your local Planned Parenthood. If you are low income, you can probably get them very cheap or free. If not they will work with you. You don't need your parents consent to get treatment or birth control there.

find a planned parenthood close to you and give them a call. it's completely confidential, you don't need your parents and they will give you the pill for very very low cost :]

go to your local plan parenthood they will set you up and be confidential . most of the time it is free
you can get them at ur local health department or clinic and they are usually pretty cheap. mine are about $15 a month and if you are 16 or older then it is confidential, atleast in GA. But, you might want to make sure it is confidential in ur state.
if you go to your local healthe center (or planned parenthood) I believe the pills are free or low cost but I think you may have to be 18 if you want them w/o parental consent.
Go to planned parenthood or to your local health clinic. They will give you an exam and will also give you bc pills. They will go by how much you can afford, so it shouldn't be too expensive. Hope this helps and good luck.

i went on the pill 3 months ago i got it from the doctors you just tell them you want it to remain confidential and thats how it stays and you get them free
try to find a plan parenthood or teen clinic in your town. the pill is free and your strict father will not find as long as you hide it well.
