Does fingering cause urinal tract infection?!

Question: Fingering on it's own shouldn't cause a UTI. However, you could have spread bacteria that naturally lives around your anus to your urethra, causing the UTI. Also, if you're using a lubricant not intended for vaginal use it could be causing it. If you think the fingering of someone else caused it, that could be. You never know where his hands were before they were in you.

As far as I know, it can! Anything that puts bacteria into that area can cause it (sex, or fingering, or anything else).

Hello,

It is very rare, but sometimes if a finger/penis has bacteria on it and it is allowed into the bladder it CAN cause a UTI, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that fingering CAUSES a UTI.

yep.
maybe you should stop.

it could, if the guy didn't wash his hands before he touched u. all of those germs can get on ur urethra and cause a urinary tract infection. make sure his hands are freshly clean before he touches u.

Yep anything that enters your vagina can cause a urinal tract infection

Absolutely; especially if the fingers havent been washed. Women should pass urine before, and after sexual contact, to keep germs flushed from their urinal tract. Everyone should drink a large glass of water before sex, so they can flush those germs away afterwards!!

digital play {fingering} can introduce bacteria into the vagina and urethra causing infection. before you let someone touch you, ask him/her to wash hands. kind of takes away from the heat of the moment, but then so does a painful infection.

yes if you dont wash your hands properly, bcteria from your fingers can cause infecgtion
