Periods. I Need Help.?!
Question: So I'm this 13 year old girl, Who got her very first period on the second. So thats like today right? I know it's very likely that I will start off irregular but, how will I know around when it's coming? So I can put on a pad and not get any leaks. I absolutely hate carring my purse in school. So that means my pads are in my locker. And I can only go there a few select times a day. So, can you help me? Thanks. :D

Your first few periods will be irregular for a while...like not occuring the same time each month. After a while they should become more regular. I'd like to say theres a way to know when it'll come next, but there is not. If you can only go out a few times then you may want to carry them with you. I know you said you hate carrying a purse, but you can't go to your locker and the bathroom. So when you think its coming, carry a purse. Or find out if a friend is having hers at the same time. (then think of a code so guys don't know what your talking about. at my school we say "do you have any crayons i can borrow, i'm coloring." crayon=pad, coloring=period) Hope I helped!
to know when ur next period is, count 28 days from the 1st day of ur last period. the night b4 of ur next period, put a pad on.
its actually irregular a lot
your hormones can cause it to change
once you get it a couple more times you should get use to it
you can just kinda feel it
and you get major cramps before it somethimes too.

Well, to me, pads are nothing but trouble while in school. If you are active sometimes they shift causing you to leak through your clothes. Therefore, I perfer tampons. Also, around every 23rd day from your period, never leave the house without either a pad or a tampon. Most of the time periods occurs every 28 days from your last. But everyone is different and mother nature likes to play tricks sometimes. Also, around the time your period starts, your breasts might get tender and you may feel slightly hot.

u can have a pad 4 like 6 hours, it depends on how u leak, but i guess after a while it doesn't matter.
