Since my mother turned 60 she is not the same woman?!
Question: She says all the time that she only cares about herself from now on. She travels 12 hours to visit her children and once there she misses all family diners and outings to be with her sisters (whom she talks to every day). She has no patience with my father and all she says about everything and anything is that she could not care less! it's like she's mad all the time.
Is she going through some kind of life crisis?

Sounds like it, hitting 60 brought out some bad emotions in her. I think it's different with women, men just go out and buy a sportscar for their life crisis.
She has probably gone through her change of life and they say it changes woman a great deal. I myself don't see any difference except that i had major hot flashes. She can;'t help herself, she has hormone changes and sometimes they are extreme. She probably doesn't even realize what she is doing. She needs to go see somebody and get some help and somebody has to sit her down and tell her this before it gets more out of control.
