Period question - what could this be?!

Question: In short:

-Stopped taking the Pill after 2 years, stopped at the end of the pack and had a normal period, which ended Nov. 4.
-Didn't have my period until Dec. 20. which basically means I skipped a period. Everything seemed okay except it was really light and when I had it on the pill it was pretty heavy. It ended Dec. 24. Had sex after my period ended.
-This is the weird part- had bleeding Dec.28. It started when I was exercising (but I exercise a lot, so I doubt it has anything to do with that). It was a pretty big flow, enough for me to use a tampon, but when I took that out, it wasn't really full and I didn't bleed again.

What could this be? Thanks for your responses.

Since your just got off the pill recently your body is adjusting. Your periods should be regular in a few months. Hope this helps.

Your body's just adjusting to being off of the pill. It takes a bit, sometimes, to get the hormones straightened out

After getting off the pill your period can be irregular for upto 5 years I believe. What you expierenced was either breakthrough bleeding or your real period. If you feel unsure it's best to talk to your mom, or an adult female, or make a doctor's appointment! :)

It sounds like your body is trying to adjust to not having the pill. I think I would call your dr. and discuss it with them cause you may have to get back on the pill to adjust your cycle. Good luck.

you should probably see your obgyn and tell them let them do a pg test or buy one at the store.. you could have been pregnant and lost it... (hope not) or your hormones could just be screwed up or you could be preggers.. either way a test should be able to clear up wether or not you are or were ever pregnant... if you lost it you will still have the hormone in your body and it should be positive unless you werent very far along hope i helped have a good new year and good luck

It could be just some break through bleeding from your hormones trying to regulate. If it doesnt go away within a month or so call your gyn for an appontment. This same thing happened to me for 11 months after my son was born & it was just hormones. Good luck

Just a note, if you exercise a lot, it CAN affect your period. Keep a balanced lifestyle and everything else should balance out too.
