Why do u think that...?!

Question: why do you guys think that anorexic girls and bulimic girls have no or irregular period..?

whats the diffrence between normal period and irregular period?

dont you think we should be proud of our body and not kill it...the pressure is enough for little gurls to blow der mind..

i hope u answer the questions..and its okay if u call me sumthing like sick..but im recovering and it was the pressure.

i was very anorexic about two years ago and totally stopped having my period for a year. it is because when your body has a small amount of body fat, there isnt enough to safely carry a baby through pregnancy, so it is your body's response to making sure you dont get pregnant and kill the baby with the lack of fat.

They have it because they're not taking in enough calories. However, being overweight or being on medication can also interfere with having regular periods. An irregular period would be a period that doesn't come every month. Glad you're recovering and understand that your illness was affecting you in a negative way.

Body fat produces estrogen, which helps to cause your period. If you don't have a lot of body fat, then you won't have enough estrogen to cause your ovaries to be able to make a fertile egg.

A regular period is once every 25-35 days. Irregular is less often than once per month, and might be light when it happens, or not happen for many months, then be very heavy.
