Always vs. Stayfree which of these pads are better?!

Question: I was shopping with my friend and she would only get Stayfree. She said she tried Always, and she had to change them more often and they leaked. Are Stayfree really more comfortable, and keep you drier and better protected than Always? I will not exept answers containing tampons or comments about pads feeling like diapers. Just Always or Stayfree. Feel free to use personal experiences or stories to better explain your answers.

Both Stayfree and Always have that superabsorbant material in all their pads that absorbs more than 100x its own weight, so as far as how much they will hold, they are about the same, at least from my experience. Stayfree has the "four wall" contours on many of their thicker pads, and I find that this bunches up and feels more bulky than Always. I have used Always for years and never had any problems with them. Try to get a small pack of both brands and see what works best for you.

ALWAYS- more choices, better.

I tried Stayfree once and they just felt dirtier. I'm not really sure why except the tops are different and there seems to me to be something between you and the mess with Always. I personally only use Always. Of course, I think it's a personal preference kind of a thing. Always has a larger variety of sizes and types and if you have the correct size or type and change them as you should, there shouldn't be a problem with leakage. But, I think that's why they make different brands; different stuff for different folks.

always...

I actually use Always. They're the best kind I've tried. They've never leaked on me.

I like always. Ive never had a leaking problem. And I like the wipes they put on the pad. Also they make a really good overnight pad that doesn't seem to get all squished up like other brands. Ive never really only bought always, Ive tried other brands if they are on sale. But I always end up disappointed. I guess its the price I pay for being cheap and looking for a bargain. :)

Always

When I had to wear pads for a few months before my surgery due to a bad hemorrhoid bleeding all the time (it was like a period only a different spot), I tried both Always and Stayfree.

I found Stayfree to be more comfortable and protected me better - considering where I was bleeding from. It seemed less bulky as well.

My best advice would be for you to try them both to see which one you prefer.
