It is highly unlikely you have breast cancer at your age sweetie. If anything you probably have fibrocystic breast disease. In other words .. lumpy boobs.. It is very common and no treatment is necessary.

Its probably not cancer, but just like you I had lumps and the Doctor told me it could be just milk ducts. I went around not saying anything because I was scared to know, so what a relief when the Doctor told me this several years later. They went away just like he said. Now with all of that said you really need to talk to your Mom, being scared is worse than finding out that everything is fine. So get brave and chat with your Mom. You really should go to the Doctor and be checked.

If you feel you will definitely not tell your mom about it, I would check with your local Childrens' Hospital Adolescent Clinic to schedule a check up. They can diagnose your condition and explain what is going on. Whether serious or not medically, you want to address the discomfort you are feeling at night and during gym class. Your mom may have experienced something similar growing up so I would ask her. Things become less awkward and scary as we mature and vocalize our needs to those who care and can help.

It would be good to ask your Mom to take you to a doctor.
But, you can look up Planned Parenthood on the Web to see if there's a location near you. See if there's one close enough to take a bus to.
You can call up & make an appointment to see one of the nurse practitioners.
It's not likely to be cancer, but maybe there's another issue. At least they can suggest a way for you to be more comfortable.

I've read of it in 17 mag. and no it's not cancer!

I think you have some kind of hormonal imbalance that medicine can fix. Tell your mom so she can make a dr. appt. I know it's awkward but it's important and something needs to be done about it.

Breast cancer is not a concern in girls under 25 or so. Tubular breasts are not that strange.

Nobody likes talking to her mom about such things, but as a mom, I HAVE to know when something is bothering you! Here we moms give you the freedoms you want, but you are not willing to come to us when you really need help!

Tell your mom! You will both feel better after seeing a doctor.
