Do women start thier period in the night?!

Question: I mean do women go to bed,get sleep and wake up suddenly to find the period has started?
Or does it start more often in the day time?
If it tends to start more often in the day what should be the reason?

Women usually notice it when they wake up, or during the day. Why? Because when a woman is asleep she usually lies down and when she gets up all the blood is able to leave her body. A woman can get her period at any time of day, though.

Gravity. It is just as likely to start at anytime, but you're more likely to notice when you're not laying down (for obvious reasons).

it could happen at any time

more in the day
gravity

It can happen anytime.

Usually in the day, sometimes at night

it happens a lot at night...and i HATE it...

Well... I usually wake up with cramps but nothing has started yet... until I get up and move around... so yea... I guess it's gravity.

thats not a very lagit question dude...i mean EVERY SINGLE GIRL is different i mean ive had times were i woke up and my peirod was on...and then i had times when my peirod came on during the day...it all depends on the girl! soo you cant really judge that!

It can start at whatever time of the day it feels like, lol.

Ah... it's kind of like if you randomly start getting a bloody nose. You weren't doing anything, and you didn't get hit, it just started bleeding, lol.

It can start whenever it wants to. Sometimes women do go to bed just to wake up having their period. Or it can come out of nowhere in the middle of the day. Usually there are symptoms that tell a girl when she's going to get it. For example, she may start to have cramping a few days, to a few seconds before she starts to bleed. A lot of women know their own bodies too, and can pretty much tell when it's going to start. I don't cramp up until the last minute...so as soon as I get cramps, I know whats coming.

it could happen day or night, any time any where. there very first one is usually not heavy at all just discharge with a little blood in it for a few days.
it is no big deal most women have to deal with it

we just had to eat that damn apple.

It can start ANYTIME. As to whether it is more common to start in the day or the night, each woman is different, so there's no "correct" answer for that. I must say that I can't help but wonder why you want to know! LOL!

it deosnt matter night time or day time..

Whenever you get...Why wouldn't you get it at night???

It can come at anytime. Mine usually comes at night though.

it ca mes at anytime of day with sever pain in first day

it can start anytime mine started in the night, i went to sleep the next morning my sheets were covered in blood and i didnt want to get out of bed, but luckily my mum came but i was so embarrased.
so periods dont just have 2 come in the day thay can come in the night 2, the worst 1 is to start at school or on a shopping trip somewhere!

More often it starts in the daytime, but it can start at night. One wouldn't normally wake to find the period has started, because you are usually warned that it's about to start by increasingly bad cramping and they would wake one up, and then you'd know to go and put a pad in your panties. The reason periods are more likely to start during the day is because that is when one is active, and activity gets things moving.

it can start anytime of the day.

there is no reason why it starts more often in the day or night.
