Am I Stressed or Pregnant?!

Question: I had my period this month right on time but it was very light and sort of brownish colored. I take Birth Control regularly and ALWAYS use a condom. I have never had skin to skin contact. Im worried I might be pregnant because I am more gasuous lately, seem to eat more, and my period was light. I also feel like my intenstines are jumping around inside me. However, I have been stressed and I dont have any ther symptoms just as sore breasts or anything. I was just wondering what are the changes of me being pregnant if I use the pill and condoms and my period DID come, just very light. Am I just over thinking things and therefore making myself sick?? I feel like I could be making myself sick to my stomach like I mentioned because I am freaking myself out.

Know the feeling.....
Chances are, you are in the clear- the mind does lots of tricks to your body. If you think you have a throbbing pain in your leg for long enough, you will start to feel it- pretty weird, huh?

Stress also makes your stomach feel queasy and your period lighter than normal. Chances of you being pregnant (using condoms and being on BC-as long as you are consistent with taking it at a certain time) are very slim. I would wait to see if you get your next period before going to see a doctor.

Or, if it would calm your nerves, take a home pregnancy test or go ask your doctor for one. It could still happen- but it is rare. Wait it out a week or two and let your body regulate itself again.

Good luck!
