I took plan b an hour after sex is that okay?!
Question: i had sex with my fiance about 4 days ago abnd he came inside of me and as soon as he came inside of me we took a shower got dressed and bought the plan b. Does it still work if i take it the same day then i took the 2nd pill 12 hours after. please help....

it should - you have to take plan be within 72 hours. so it's not as effective the more time you wait. you're better off taking it so soon.
Yes, that's how you're supposed to take it; the sooner the better, just as long as it's within 3 days of the occurrence.

Plan B is an awesome pill. It is supposed to work up to 72hrs after unprotected sex. ITS NOT FOOLPROOF though, so there are no guarantees.

Hi - Yes - you can take the pills 12 hrs apart or at the same time. You might want to think of other options for family planning though, these jolts of hormones can be a little hard on you and mess up your cycles. If you miss your period after plan B, get a pregnancy test because it is not 100%.
Plan B can be effective for more than 72 hours, but the longer you wait, the less effective it becomes and your odds of an unplanned pregnacy increase. You might want to keep a pack on hand.

It gets LESS effective as time passes . It is less effective on the second day than the first, less effective on the third day than the second, and pretty much useless after three days. But I don't think the time you took to shower and then drive to the pharmacy and back are enough of a delay to worry about.
Didn't you read the directions? the directions say "as soon as possible after unprotected sex" and "take the second pill twelve hours after the first". You did both. That is all you can do. If you get pregnant anyway, well, you were planning on getting married anyway. Your first child will just get here earlier than expected.
