You can't stop it sooner. Tell your mom the next time you get a chance. It's not embarrassing or something you should be ashamed of. It could be something to bring you two a little closer together. You're growing up.

But your period will go, however long it needs to go, there's no stopping it early.

youre better off talking to your mom. birth control can help regulate your period and make it shorter and lighter.

Sorry honey, there's nothing you can do. Unless you get on the pill, there's nothing that will slow it down. Taking the pill can make your period lighter or shorter or both.

Separately, though....why are you scared to tell your mom? You didn't do anything wrong... it's just your body! It's natural... I don't see why you'd need to be scared! I'm sure your mom can remember when she first got her period and what it felt like. Don't be scared because you'll have a lot of questions as time goes by about your body, etc... she will be a good resource to have.

you need to tell your mom your period can not end fast. sorry.

you need to tell your mom it is normal and fine she will help you. and umm the only way i can think to shorten it is certain birth control will make is not last as long.

Only way taking a birth control will work for regulate your period, shorter and lighter. If I were you to talk your doctor about birth control.

the pill.

It's really hard to tell your mom about it, I know because I just did it the other day. Next time you're shopping together, when you go near the pad/tampon aisle, just pick some out and tell her you need to buy some. Trust me, it might be a little bit awkward but once it's over you'll be sooooo relieved!!! And since it's at the store she can't make a huge deal about it...Hope that helps!

theres nothin really good you can do about it... :(
