Fibroid tumors? Any women out there with experience?!
Question: I'm in my mid 20's, I know I'm techenically younger then the normal age bracket, but my last exam my dr felt a mass and I'm following up with a ultrasound. How has it effect you, each month the pain grows worse.

I don't have them, but my mom did. She got a hysterectomy because she looked 8months pregnant with them. When they took them out, they were the size of a football or a small turkey.
My mom had really heavy bleeding and her period lasted a long time. She was also unable to have kids, and had to adopt.
She got them when she was in her 30's I think. You are quite young for it, so I wouldn't fret just yet.
I wish you the best of luck, and I hope everything turns out ok.
