dont worry hu everthing will be ok im here if you need to talk!!!!!!!!!!
let me know on friidy the results :D xx

are you on birth control?? i know you arent haveing sex but if you take them just incase, sometimes your period can stop for a couple months. im not a doctor, but i have seen the commercials. good lck on friday!!

You haven't said how old you are. And how long since your periods started? Do you have a normal diet? Have you been stressed? Have you had a lot of exercise?

It could be anything...you might have something on your ovaries...you will have to wait until the test results. No one on here can tell you what it is and you will make yourself sick with worry.

highly stressed at the moment?

This can be a symptom related to serious hormonal imbalance, sometimes created through inadequate nutritional intake. Often associate with eating disorders like anorexia nervosa.

But this is just one possibility...and not knowing your age, weight, height, eating habits etc, etc. its is impossible to make an assessment if this has any relevance

Other hormonal issues could lead to missed periods -- Have you ever had any cause to suspect a thyroid problem, assuming eating disorder is out of the question?

Other health issue possibilities might be:
- Polycystic ovaries; or
- Premature ovarian failure;
- Stress (getting yourself stressed about this is a vicious circle if you are susceptible -- this would in itself explain 'feeling sick' -- with worry) or
- High prolactin levels (usually a problem after birth, and breast-feeding -- as it is the hormone associated with stopping the periods during this time)

I trust your recent tests will resolve the problem.

BUT if they come back with no useful results or diagnosis -- then it is worth following up on things like thyroid imbalance. This can often remain undiagnosed even for YEARS!! because the typical tests that are done are NOT sensitive enough to pick up the 'borderline' problems. Weight gain would imply a tendency to hypothyroidism, and you would need a thyroid supplement such as thyroxine, at the least, to start getting things right.

i missed my periods for 8 months no reason for it they just started up again the first on was pretty bad heavy bleeding and bad cramps but they have been ok since hopefully everything is ok in your case i wouldn't worry to much you will have your blood tests back soon

hi your not alone i went six months without a period and went to the doctors i was diagnosed with sumt called polysicystic ovaries (google it) this condition also makes you put on weight . hope this helps x

it might be stressed related or do you have bad cramping around ovulation you might have cyst im not to sure but i have had times were my period i wounldnt get for 5- 6 months at a time
