Question: what would be reasons to see an endocrinologist???????? i think i am having a hormonal imbalance for a long time now.
I want to go to one but the doctor is male, does this even matter?? IS an enocrinologist like a regular doctor???

why don't you check with your primary care doctor or obgyn and she can determine if you need to see a specialist or if it is just something she can treat.
it doesnt matter that he's a male they are like normal doctors. I have a thyroid problem so i go to one and he is a male.
An endocrinologist is a regular doctor, with additional training in endocrinology. It doesn't matter if he's male or female, a good doctor is a good doctor. They all follow the same standard of care. I see an endocrinologist, who also happens to be male, for hormonal imbalances.
I've gone to one. Hormonal imbalances are a good reason to see one. They aren't like a gynocologist, they won't be looking there. They take blood samples and ask about your history and why you think there's a problem.
i went to a male endocrinologist when i was 10 because my growth hormone was off and ii was 5 ft 2 in n 150 lbs it should b fine dont worry
