OK, Girls.... burning question socks or no socks for your pap smear?!
Question: Socks all the way!!! Metal stirups can be cold, and you dont know what is leftover foot wise from the last people who have been there, and if they disinfected that portion. Socks may not be whats hot as far as lingerie wise, but your going through a clinical proceedure, I doubt the doctor and nurse are trying to hold back there hysterical laughs because you chose to be comfortable. Its a personal decision though.
