Lmao, I like your list.

Well, the burning thing could be nothing special because I have had burning before. I think its called a urinary infection, but it goes away. Also, having to pee all the time reminds me of pregnant women. Their womb bumps against their bladder, making them feel like they need to pee. I'm not saying you're pregnant, but that is what it reminds me of. Maybe you're full of blood?

So I am not sure about your first two problems, but follow my advice and the advice of others and if it doesn't work, go see someone about it.

My advice is you need to keep your lower area very, very clean. Clean it thoroughly. Does your shower have a removable head? That helps, a lot. I do not want to tell you to get a douche, but those things clean well. I don't want to tell you to get a douche because it can promote a yeast infection. But keep down there very clean and tidy.

Now, you need to change your pad ever 1 - 3 hours. If you leave the pad for too long, the moisture might encourage a yeast infection. Most pads dry, but when it dries, it begins to SMELL REALLY BAD! So, change it as much as you can so you do not STINK HORRIBLY or encourage a future yeast infection.

Ummm... how old r u??
u should probably ask your mom or a ob...

It is normal when girls first get their periods for it to seem "strange", but I assure you everything is normal. It is ok if there is a little discomfort while urinating. If it gets very bad, that would not be normal, but if it just a little uncomfortable...perfectly ok. Some girls have heavier flows than others. It is normal to have a very heavy flow for the first few days of your period. It isn't as much blood as it seems I assure you. You should change your pad really as often as you think you need to. If you find that after only and hour or two if is uncomfortable and "full", then by all means change it. You can wear a pad for up to 8 hours, but I personally would not go past 6 hours just for comfort reasons. After you have had your period a few times, you may want to try tampons. I know it might seen scary at first, but they really are much more comfortable...no diaper feeling. They come in a variety of absorbencies, like super plus, super, regular and light and use one based on what your flow currently is. The box has great directions for using them and your mom or a friend could help you too. Welcome to being a woman...it stinks huh? : ) Feel free to e-mail me if you need any more advice.

Add on - you insert it into your vagina. It is made of cotton and absorbs the blood. It comes with either a plastic or cardboard applicator that needs to be removed. A package will have an insert with detailed instructions and pictures.

You could have a urinary tract infection, and should go to the doctor so they can see what's wrong. Periods can sometimes be messy (typically when you're using pads, tampons are less messy.) Although you shouldn't need to be going every five minutes. You should change your pad every 4 hours or so, less if your flow is heavy.

You period isn't going to be normal for quite a while, and it's going to be messy at times but just make sure you're keeping yourself clean (showering/bathing every day) and fully 'cleaning' yourself after you change each pad.

If the burning problem persists I really suggest you go to your doctor and see what's wrong, and tell your mom!

Periods can take some getting use to =) It will probably be irregular at the moment since you have just started. Ask a close relative or older friend if you have questions.

You seem to be pretty young but periods are real messy. Depending on the type of pad you use you may need to change every 3-4 hours. I have to use Always overnight or maxi during the day. Find someone you can talk with to really discuss this with you.

Don't worry about the burning sensation, this is most likely perfectly normal - when you have your period it's normal to feel a little discomfort wen going to the loo. Going every five minutes is also normal - a lot of girls have heavy periods and need to change pads more often. Also, during your period a common symptom is needing to urinate more often. So don't worry about this.

You can change your pad whenever it gets full of blood - although you don't have to wait for it to fill up completely. If you go to the bathroom and see that it's considerably filled with blood, then change it. I can't say a specific number of hours when this will be.

Tampons are inserted into the vagina and soak up the blood. If you want to learn how to use them, you should buy some and follow the instructions inside the packet. You'll get the hang of it eventually.

Don't worry about anything, you're perfectly normal!
