How long should i keep my IUD inn?!
Question: i got and IUD inserted in me before i got married so i would not have kids yet. But i want to have kids and heard that the longer you keep it in the more of a chance you have not to have kids. if so why and what suggestions do you have?

What type of IUD do you have? Paragard (the copper one) is typically left in up to 10 years. Minerva (contains hormones) is taking out after a maximum of 5 years. One of the great advantages of the IUD is that once you remove it, your fertility returns quickly. It is not true that the longer you have an IUD in, the less likely you are to become pregnant. Barring any complications with the IUD like perforation (which is rare), you shouldn't have any problem getting pregnant related to the IUD after its removal.
if you want to have kids ,go to Gyn to put your IUD off.
