Question: iS THiS NORMAL

Answers: iS THiS NORMAL

Hi there.....It is helpful for one to know how long it's been since you've given birth. You should start your period within 2 months after giving birth unless you are nursing. Very often you won't have a period for a few months while nursing.

It is best that if you become concerned, ask your MD. Having had 2 children, I would say don't worry until the 2nd month comes and goes and you haven't started (unless you are nursing).

I am an RN

yes, it takes months for your period to come back, some people up to a year, but no one can really predict so you still need birth control.

yes it's normal!

how long has it been since you had the baby? If you are breastfeeding you may not have a period until you stop,if not it should be about 6-8 weeks from the time you gave birth or if you have been having sex you could be pregnant again because you are very fertile after having the baby.Go see your doc

Your period may be erratic or completely delayed, especially if you're breast feeding. Be aware however, that even without a period you CAN still become pregnant. If you want to have sex then use adequate contraception. One baby at a time is enough!

Its normal my cousin didnt have her period until after her second child came along which was 2 years later
