The last answer about a miscarriage is incorrect. That is wrong. You could possibly be pregnant but I couldn't make an educated, medical guess until I knew when your last period was, when you had sex, and when you had your light period. Here's what happens: once fertilization occurs in the fallopian tubes, it spends 48-72 hrs. traveling down the tubes. Once it implants into the uterus, you could have what is called implementation bleeding. This blood is very light and sometimes mistaken for a period. It occurs because the uterine tissue is irritated from the embryo and the irritation causes light bleeding. This normally occurs at the time of your period. Here's why: You are generally fertile around days 14-16 of your 28-day cycle. If you get pregnant at this time, you are about 14 days (2 weeks) away from your period. By the time the embryo travels down the tubes and implants, you are near the time of your scheduled cycle. The implementation bleeding is lighter in nature and doesn't last long but is not an actual "period." Some women mistake this for one. Like I said, I can't say for sure this is what it could be because I don't know the dates I stated above. You may be pregnant. If you are unsure or concerned, take a pregnancy test and put your mind at ease. Hope this helps!

First - Have you had sex? if yes then YES you could be pregnant and you should get a pregnancy test.

It is possible. I think the key question is whether you had sex that could have led to you being pregnant -- unprotected sex, or questionably protected sex. If in doubt, take a test. They don't cost much and they're pretty reliable.

If you get your period while your pregnate its called miscarrage because all the blood to nurtrient your baby is lost. Its quite sad if this happens. Yes I would take a test. It could be. Good luck..

yes it very well can be..
how do I know?
I had my period and a month later didnt..but the thing is I found out I was already pregnant when I had my period the previous month. Sometimes your body has to get rid of the final bit

It is a lot more common than many people know. Some women get their period during their entire pregnancy! Crazy I know but it happens!

If you are a little worried than I suggest you go take a test ... if for nothing more than a little piece of mind.
