My husband said that to me once when I had cramps really bad (bad enough to the point that I hadn't gone out all day and cancelled everything I had planned to do for the day and was taking pain pills specifically prescribed to me for period cramping). Needless to say, I flipped out and yelled at him telling him he had no clue what I was feeling and shouldn't have the audacity to tell me something like that when he has no idea what it's like (b****y, yes I know...the joys of PMS :)). He never said anything like that again :)

i would depend on what he was specifically referring to
a period or cramps is one thing because i don't think they are bad and sometimes i think people are too dramatic about them
but childbirth or pregnancy...i would slap him too

not me be my sister. I told her nex time say " Ya it is that bad,its like having knifes stuck in your stumache then you blow up like a ballon but the worst part i haveing to skip swim class or doing fn things with your friends", maybe that will get them thinking!

no, but if they did I would probably ask if I could flick them in the nuts

I've never had a man say that to me,but I have heard them do it,and it pisses me off. They could never know what it's like to be a woman.I heard one idiot on TV ask his wife "Does it hurt",while she was giving birth.Of course it hurts. What the hell do you think?

Yep--my roommate and I were having lunch with one of our best guy friends and he was whining about how his girlfriend didn't want to do anything because of her cramps---we pretty much gave him our mutual "f-you glare"--he knows what it means...lol.

YES. Those EXACT words came from my ex. My best friend was with me and told him off. lol.
