Painful intercourse?!

Question: i want to have sex but its just uncomfortable or painful. and i feel bad for my hubby but i tried explaining that the whole inside feels really tender and bruised and i dont think its from having my daughter because it just started a couple months ago. has anyone else had this problem or know why it might be happening (my daughter is 9mo.)

First - make sure you are using lube and that he spends a lot of time on foreplay. When you are aroused, you tend to open up and relax.

Second - You dont have to have penetration to have sex. Trust me - any attention you give "Mr Happy" will be welcome. Work on your hand/oral skills. Lie on your back on the edge of the bed, put your feet together, add oil and let him rub between the bottoms of your feet. (Wash your feet first). Also, just lie back and let him rub you on the outside. Not quite as nice as full penitration, but a very visual turn-on for him.

Third - Visit your Gyno to see if you are healed inside. There may be some bruising and hey might recommend Motrin or something to help you heal quicker.
