Nawwww you can't get an infection if u have a clean thong on.. so no, it's not "bad." But wear a thong that lets your skin breath... so it doesn't get irratating.(such as cotton)

No way to cause an infection unless it has no cotton crotch and it has less material so it is much more comfortable.
I sleep in them all the time and i'v never had any kind of infection. it's a little less comfy but thats it
If its dirty, you could get a UTI, or a Yeast Infection.
