Why direct your question to the Ladies????Last I knew they don't have testicles!!!

You have a pinched nerve in your back that leads to your testicles. You either slipped a disc lifting too heavy a load or worse yet,you ruptured a disc. Each scenario can pinch the nerve that runs to your testicles. That is the only thing that can make your testicles have pain unless you were recently kicked there.

The only cure for that pain is to relieve the pressure off the nerve. You can "try" by stopping all stooping, bending, lifting for about 2 weeks at least. Take hot baths, lay with a heating pad on your back 20 minutes on, then an ice pack for 20 minutes. Alternate this 3-4 times a day. If you go to work, forget it. You need to REST your back and allow the muscles that have swollen around the injury to relax some. If it is only slightly slipped, perhaps it will slip back in.

Meanwhile, you can try a chiropractor which may be able to slip a disc back in place IF that is what you have.

You may have to see a neurologist who will eventually get to an MRI scan which is the only scan that will really show up the soft tissue of a disc. Regular X-rays and not reliable since they show bone with a slight outline of soft tissue.

Just don't settle for anyone telling you that nothing is wrong, it's probably just a sprain. The key word here is "probably".
If they don't KNOW, they NEED to know by doing all the right tests to prove nothing serious is wrong.

Good luck. If in 2 weeks you are not better, please, I urge you, see a Neurologist...Forget an MD, he'll give you muscle relaxers and send you home. Forget an Orthopedic Surgeon, he will want to cut you open.....If you have a ruptured disc, there are cures available today that are not surgical.

99% people are worse off after surgery, I guarantee it.

I am an RN

Referred pain from a pulled groin muscle. Ice and Ibuprofen, rest.
